BIO

Hey – Carol here.

I’m a Writer, Educator, Life Coach and a passionate Inspirgator.

I inspire and instigate (think part inspiration developer, part instigator, part navigator and mentor). As a life coach, I am the one who helps one define the goal, holds one in line as needed and to be accountable to their aspirations (if they want).

My gifts are listening, encouraging, and meeting people where they are and hand holding as needed. I adore celebrating the successes of others and will often share these successes with others.

I am that goofy, crazy friend who has been there – done that and who has a tendency to over share with a potty mouth.

I have boss research and people skills and truly enough life experiences for several lifetimes – people just tend to turn to me for questions, direction and fun.

Education:

  • BA in Humanities and Communication with a concentration in Creative Writing and Social Action.
  • MA in Education/Special Education
  • A Graduate level Certificate in Evidence Based Coaching

Special Knowledge Areas:

I have personal experience with Autism, Mental Health, Health Healing, Entrepreneurial Beginnings and a lot about, binge reading, gardening, Wicca, Law of Attraction, Woo-Woo and being, “odd.”

Some accomplishments:

  • Raised a son with autism back in the day before I had a personal computer and Internet service and when there were no books on the subject at the library. He is now living independently and pursuing his musical ambitions at college.
  • Helped an admitted agoraphobic find her sense of adventure – and she ended up getting married and having dual residences and traveling the country
  • Instigated significant changes to what “inclusion” meant to 4 different school districts opening up opportunities for many diverse students
  • Inspired people to return to school as non traditional students and also helped diverse students to remain in school despite the last semester changes the university was challenging them with
  • Helped dream up and wrote the plan for a multi-million dollar business
  • Encouraged and assisted other entrepreneurs to give it a go
  • And countless people have told me how my bravery encouraged them to try and be different (even/especially when I was doing life scared)

Currently I am on a Groovy Grand Adventure traveling, boondocking, playing tourist and artist with my camera and exploring gardens and staying with friends. I’m somewhat looking for a forever-home location and somewhat just wandering and feeling Blessed.

Life is Groovy!

You can contact me here if you you’d like to work with me, chat, or have questions.

Groovy Bright Blessings,

Carol
